The new phase of solar energy in Armenia: from production to energy storage and smart management

Solar energy in Armenia has recorded unprecedented growth in recent years. While in 2019 the country produced only 13.4 million kWh of solar electricity (0.2% of total production), in January-April 2026 alone this figure reached 483.7 million kWh, almost 36 times higher than the result of the entire 2019.
