The solar power plant at the Maralik thread factory.

At the Maralik thread factory, EcoVille implemented a large-scale energy project by installing a 1091 kW solar power plant. The plant produces around 1.7 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, fully meeting the production facility’s energy needs.

Thanks to this project, the factory not only saves around 80 million AMD annually but also becomes more competitive by reducing production costs and reinvesting those savings into further development.

The solar power plant also has a significant environmental impact: it prevents the annual emission of approximately 873 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which is equivalent to the amount of carbon absorbed by thousands of trees. This is an important contribution to shaping Armenia’s green energy future and protecting the environment.
