The project was implemented at the initiative of EcoVille Holding and is the first of its kind in Armenia to integrate solar energy generation and agricultural activities within a single solution.
The agrivoltaic system enables the same land area to serve two purposes simultaneously: generating clean energy while preserving its agricultural use.

One of the key features of the power plant is its elevated structure, which allows agricultural activities to continue beneath the solar panels.
In addition, the plant features a mobile solar tracking system that follows the movement of the sun, enabling higher energy output and more efficient utilization of solar energy.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of government institutions, the private sector, international organizations, and the energy industry.
During the event, the advantages of agrivoltaic technologies were presented, along with the prospects for their further implementation and development in Armenia.

This project represents an important step toward the integrated development of sustainable agriculture and renewable energy, contributing to the efficient use of land resources, strengthening energy independence, and promoting the adoption of innovative technologies.

EcoVille Holding will continue to implement innovative projects that contribute to the development of green energy in Armenia and support the country’s transition toward a more sustainable and efficient energy system.
