EcoVille, your best solar partner

Since 2015, EcoVille has been combining the power of the sun and modern, high-quality technologies, implementing innovative, engineering solutions for renewable energy. Our goal is to create a green and sustainable future while promoting the development of Armenia’s energy independence.

The company is one of the largest taxpayers in Armenia and the largest employer in the sector, contributing to the development of the country’s economy. The EcoVille team includes more than 350 leading specialists who contribute to the advancement of the sector with their experience and knowledge.

1985

Founding of OST Group

OST Group, of which EcoVille is a member, was founded in the 1980s as the “Spitak-1” construction company. Today, it is one of the largest construction companies in Armenia, specializing in infrastructure, hydropower, solar energy, and residential construction.

2005

EcoVille, a member of OST Group

OST Group implemented its first hydropower plant project in 2005. Currently, the company owns and operates hydroelectric power plants with a total installed capacity of approximately 30.9 MW, generating an average of 110 million kWh of electricity annually.

2015

Founding of EcoVille

OST Group began its activities in the solar energy sector by creating the company EcoVille. EcoVille offers the import, sale and installation of photovoltaic and water heating systems.

2016 - 2022

Expansion of activities and new partners

EcoVille has collaborated with leading companies such as SunPower, Fronius, JA Solar. Branches have been opened in the regions of Armenia and Georgia. In 2020, more than 60 MW of solar power plants were put into operation. An innovative solution has been introduced - the Arega power system.

2023

Major investments and international progress

New partner: Amber Capital Armenia Fund with investment. 17 MW power plants have been installed, totaling 150 MW. Visits and conferences have been organized in Germany, China and other countries.

2024

International growth and new directions

EcoVille has opened a branch in Switzerland. 10 large system plants with a total capacity of 55 MW are in the process of being installed. A new direction has been created - Volta Energy, which supplies electricity to large consumers.
